When Brian called James to ask him to go to a party, James seemed very upset about something. So Brian is asking James what happened earlier.
Brian: Yo, James, want to go to Bob’s birthday party tonight?
James: Nah~ I’m not in the mood for a party.
Brian: What’s wrong with you, dude? You like partying more than anything in the world!
James: Yeah, I usually do. But I don’t want to go anywhere today.
Brian: Tell me what happened.
James: Jenny stood me up last night. We were supposed to meet for dinner because it was my birthday, but she never showed up. When I called her, she was sleeping! She said she totally forgot about our appointment.
Brian: It’s one of those things. Are you still mad at her?
James: Of course. Put yourself in my shoes. You would probably be upset, too.
Brian: Yeah, maybe. But be a man and try to forget about her and let’s have some fun!
James: All right. I’ll see you in a minute.
Brain: There you go! I’ll see you at Bob’s.

브라이언이 제임스에게 파티에 가자고 전화를 걸었을 때, 제임스는 뭔가에 대단히 화가 나 있는 것 같았다. 그래서 브라이언은 제임스에게 무슨 일이 있었는지 묻고 있다.

브라이언: 그런 일은 흔히 있잖아. 아직도 그 애한테 화가 난 거야?
제임스: 물론이지. 내 입장이 되어 봐. 너도 아마 화가 날 걸.
브라이언: 그래, 아마도. 하지만 남자답게 그녀에 대해 잊고 즐기자고!
제임스: 좋아. 잠시 후에 보자.
브라이언: 그래야지! 밥네 집에서 보자.
