Dialogue            

Andrea: Hey, how was your weekend?

Matt: I just went shopping with my family.

Andrea: What did you buy?

Matt: I bought a new pair of jeans.

     And I’m thinking to buy one more.

Andrea: One more? Why?

Matt: It’s a little embarrassing to say, but the clerk    

     was very pretty.

Andrea: Why didn’t you get her number then?

Matt: I don’t have the nerve to do it!

Andrea: Hey, be a man and try it.

■ Translation

Andrea:주말 어떻게 보냈니?
Matt: 가족이랑 같이 쇼핑했어.
Andrea: 뭘 샀는데?
Matt: 새로 청바지 한 벌 샀어.
그리고 한 벌 더 살까 생각 중이야.
Andrea: 한 벌 더? 왜?
Matt: 말하기 좀 창피하지만, 점원이 무척 예뻤거든.
Andrea: 그러면 전화번호를 물어보지 그랬니?
Matt: 난 그럴만한 배짱이 없어!
Andrea: 야, 남자답게 해봐.
