Anne and Peter are having lunch together at the school cafeteria.
But the food is not so good. So they are complaining about it.
Anne: I think food at our school
cafeteria is terrible.
Peter: I couldn't agree with you more.
Look at these potatoes!
Anne: I know! They look five years old.
Peter: Ugh! And I can't stand these pickles, too! I'm allergic to
cucumbers.
Anne: Really? So what happens when you eat them?
Peter: Well, my skin turns red and I get rashes all over my body.
Anne: That's terrible. Then, you shouldn't eat them.
Peter: Are you allergic to anything?
Anne: I'm allergic to peaches. When I touch it, my whole body itches
like crazy.
Peter: That's too bad you can't eat such delicious fruit! Anyway,
I can't eat this anymore.
Anne: Me, too. But I'm still hungry. Hey, why don't we grab some
burgers at the fast food restaurant?
Peter: Great idea. Let's bounce!
■Translation
앤과 피터는 학교 구내식당에서 함께 점심을 먹고 있다. 하지만 음식이 별로여서
두 사람은 불평하고 있다.
Anne: 우리 학교 구내식당 음식은 정말 형편없는 것 같아.
Peter: 두말 하면 잔소리지. 이 감자들 좀 봐!
Anne: 내 말이! 5년은 된 것 같잖아.
Peter: 으아! 그리고 이 피클도 정말 참을 수가 없어! 난 오이 알레르기가 있거든.
Anne: 정말? 그럼 오이 먹으면 어떻게 되는데?
Peter: 흠, 피부가 빨개지고 온 몸에 뾰루지가 나.
Anne: 끔찍하다. 그럼 오이 먹으면 안되겠다.
Peter: 넌 뭐에 알레르기가 있니?
Anne: 난 복숭아 알레르기가 있어. 복숭아를 만지면 온 몸이 미친 듯이 가려워.
Peter: 그 맛있는 과일을 못 먹다니 정말 안됐다! 그나저나, 이거 더 이상 못 먹겠다.
Anne: 나도. 하지만 아직도 배가 고파. 야, 우리 패스트푸드점에 가서 햄버거 먹을래?
Peter: 좋은 생각이야. 얼른 가자!
